lets see who gets the last laugh
To say that Kanon Maldini was annoyed would have been an understatement. Due to recent events, he was beyond such feelings. The young man was downright pissed off. He thought that he made it quite clear about how he felt when it came to Schneizel and flirting with the girls around the school. Kanon didn't care if Schneizel was friends with them. He didn't mind that part at all. What aggravated him was when he flirted with them. In class, in the halls, and everywhere else. Yet if Kanon even dared turning the tables and attempted to do the same thing, he'd get into more than just fair share of trouble.
"What a bunch of bullshit." He murmured to himself as he walked down the hall in the direction of the dorm. He stopped when his eyes caught sight of a flyer that was hanging on the bulletin board. The piece of paper had details about a keg party and instead of going back to the dorm where Schneizel was probably waiting for him, he stopped at a friend's room and asked to borrow a set of clothes so he wouldn't have to bother with returning to his dorm room.
He was given a pair of black vinyl pants and a fitted crimson colored t-shirt. The outfit was incredibly questionable and it looked obvious that he was going somewhere that wasn't on campus. He slipped his shoes back on, left the campus grounds, and went straight to the party. Not only did he make friends there, but he was actually having a pretty good time and behaving himself. Minus the part of getting completely wasted.

Was Kanon leaving him? No that wasn't happening. It just wasn't. Kanon was his loyal assistant.
Snapping out of it he growled. " NO" Walking right into the room Grabbing Kanon's arm. " You are not leaving me you hear me. " He looked Kanon right into the yes.
" If you leave me.....I see it as prove you never loved me and I will see my time spent with you as wasted time"
He did not mean the last thing it was just a thing he tried to keep Kanon from leaving him.

There were no other words he could say to him. His emotional state was already far beyond damaged.
He walked out of the room and ran down the hall as fast as he could. Down the stairs and out the front doors of the dormitory. He drew in a breath and exhaled, then called a friend of his and asked if she could come pick him up.
That was the last he had seen of his prince.
Years upon years went by. Kanon did his best to reconcile their differences, but every time he called, no one would answer and when someone did it was usually a female. He stopped calling after the first two years altogether.
Then one day he heard that the person who he once served so loyally had passed away.
It was an utterly horrible day that left Kanon a wreck. That was when he turned to Nina for comfort. She was younger than him, but she had been a friend of the family for a long time because her parents had good standing with Kanon's. The more time the two of them spent together, the more confidence the earl gained. She was his support because he didn't have Schneizel with him.
Kanon ended up quitting the military and ended up pursuing music. He became a very well established composer and piano player. In the years to follow, he became so famous that his pictures graced the covers of several magazines, he was a guest on various talk shows, and he even was given handfuls of cameos and parts in movies.
The life of a celebrity.
He was also engaged to Nina because it pleased his family. It was to say the least, a very unexpected outcome.
He still felt as though he had been missing something though, because he didn't have his prince with him.
